Tomaž Furlan (1978, Kranj) is a freelance contemporary artist. Following the completion of his studies of sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana he continued to work in the field of video art and sculpture. He presented his works at numerous solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad, for instance: Manifesta 9, Genk, Belgium, 2012, U3, MSUM Ljubljana, Slovenia, 2013, The Present and Presence, MSUM Ljubljana, Slovenia 2014, Port Izmir 14, Izmir, Turkey 2014, Technical Unconscious, Porto, Portugal 2014, Tomaž Furlan 2005 – 2015, Museum of Contemporary Art Rochechouart, France. He had received multiple awards and recognitions for his work.
